Safe to School calls are placed home for the safety of our children to alert parents that their child is not in school.  They are not meant to replace a note to school. 

Please call 785-3743 and leave a message with your child's name, teacher, and reason for absence when he or she will not be in attendance.  The answer line will be checked daily from 8:00 - 11:00 AM.

Written excuses are required for the following:

Tardy
Absence
Early Dismissal

If you are aware of any instances in advance, please send a note in your child's purple folder.

The only instance where you don't need a written excuse is when your child is sent home early from the nurse for that day.  If they are out the following day, you will still need a note and to call the Safe To School Line.
