My name is Keith Thompsen and I am proud to be a Reading Consultant at Knickerbocker Elementary School.  I strongly believe that in order for a child to become successful in school (and in life) He needs to become a successful reader.  I work with students who need extra support with reading and writing.  The main aspects of my reading program include Phonemic Awareness, Vocabulary, Phonics, Comprehension, Fluency, and Writing.  We work in small groups daily and our focus varies from group to group.
