Welcome to the 2016/2017 school year.  I am excited to be a part of your child's education.  Here is a little information you may want to know about me.  I was born and raised in Watertown.  I actually was a Knickerbocker Bear when I was a kid.  I graduated from Watertown High School and went on to study education at SUNY Potsdam where I earned a teaching degree in elementary education.  I also have a Master's degree in reading from Potsdam.  I have been teaching for 20 years.  I began my career teaching in Vero Beach, Florida.  While in Florida I had the opportunity to teach 4th grade for two years and 2nd grade for one year.  After spending three years in Florida, I decided to come back home to Watertown.  This is my 17th year at Knickerbocker.

I am also a fitness instructor at the YMCA and encourage children and adults to lead an active, healthy lifestyle.  Believe it or not, I also play ice hockey on a women's team in Clayton.

I have two wonderful children that your kids will hear all about!  I love to share my family with your children and love to hear all about their families as well.
